Christmastime in Hermann is one of the most magical times of the year. Our town gets into the festive spirit right around Thanksgiving, with German Christmas markets, concerts, a tree lighting ceremony, Children’s Lantern Parade, and more! Check out our annual Christmas Event Schedule for the full list.
With decorations down every street and good cheer in the air, you might think our town would fit right in to a storybook movie. Well, you’re in luck – we had a Christmas movie filmed here too! Released in 2023, A Christmas Vintage by Nicely Entertainment follows two winemakers from rival wineries in Hermann and a wine competition that brings them and their town together. Aside from the acting talent on the silver screen, Hermann is the star of the show!
