The Riverfront Park was constructed after the flood of 1993. The base of the park is from the limestone bluff of Kallmeyer Farm, now known as Hermann Farm.

The 2 boat ramps allow visitors to put in boats, kayaks and canoes for adventures on the Missouri River. Fishing is also allowed on the ramps.

The Paddle Wheel, a visitor favorite for photos, nods to Hermann’s Riverboat History, while displaying our national, state and city flag. Memorial bricks recognize donors.

The Detective Sergeant Mason E. Griffith Park Pavilion has picnic tables and a barbecue pit. A Blue Line flag flies perpetually by a memorial plaque. Restrooms are located by the pavilion.

A pollinator garden was constructed and planted by a local scout. Along the river, is the Riverfront Walking Trail, with benches along the walk for watching the river. On the East of the sidewalk is a Lewis & Clark marker, and sidewalk art by local students, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Trail.

Also on the East end of the park is primitive camping, a swing set, a small park pavilion with one picnic table, bbq pit and fire pit.

There is ample parking in the Riverfront park. For more information or to reserve the park or pavilion, contact the City of Hermann at 573-486-5400.

Spend the night in Hermann!
