Wurstfest – A Celebration of all things Sausage!

Professional meat processors attend from all over Missouri, with sample of products for sale. There are professional and amateur sausage-making competitions, Kraut-making classes, German dancing and music, a Volksmarch, and a Wiener Dog Derby.

And the crowd-pleasing Weiner Dog Derby may well turn Hermann into the Weiner Dog Capital of the World!

2026 Schedule of Events – 

Braunschweiger Ball
Friday, March 27th, 5:00pm

Make your favorite Braunschweiger recipe and enter the contest.
Entries must be submitted by 6:30pm. Judging will be based on taste, creativity, and presentation.
Location:  White House Hotel – 232 Wharf Street – Hermann
RSVP is appreciated so we can have enough snacks and refreshments.Gourmet Sausage Sampling/Sales $10
Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-3pm

2 Locations – Pre-sale ticket price of $10 covers entry to both locations each day.  
Bundled deals and t-shirts available. Ticket price on the day of event increases to $15, so pre-sale tickets are the way to go!

Location 1 –  Stone Hill Winery Sherry House – 1110 Stone Hill Highway
German Music 12pm to 4pm, Saturday, 11-2:30 Sunday
Wurstjaegers Dancers at 1pm, both days    
Location 2 –  Hermannhof Festhalle – 237 East 1st Street
German Music 12pm to 4pm, Saturday, 11-2:30 Sunday
Sampling/Sales ticket link – bundled tickets available for either or both days. 
Bring your ice chests and stock up on your favorite brats, summer sausage & snack sticks!
