Your Guide to Wurstfest 2022

After a two-year COVID-19 hiatus, Wurstfest is back! This annual festival held in Hermann, Missouri celebrates “all things sausage.” The event is held the fourth weekend of March each year (unless it’s Easter weekend). The 2022 event will take place March 25-27th.

Friday, March 25

Kicking things off this year, the Braunschweiger Ball will be hosted at The Piano Bar at 101 E. 4th St. Judging starts at 5pm. If you’re interested in competing in the Braunschweiger competition, contact Justin at (417) 207-8959.

Saturday, March 26

Professional meat processors attend from all over Missouri, with samples and products for sale. There are professional and amateur sausage-making competitions, Kraut making classes, German dancing and music. Gourmet sausage samples will be available at two locations, so be sure to check out all the vendors!

NEW This Year: Wurst Quick Pass

A Wurst Quick Pass will move you to the front of the lines to sample and purchase from our vendors and is good for both days of Wurstfest 2022. This pass also gets you unlimited rides on the Hermann Trolley Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm March 26th & 27th. Take the trolley to both venues for sampling and to the Wiener Dog Derby on Sunday!  And we are throwing in a commemorative Wurstfest Beer Stein!  A $70+ value for just $40.
