St. Martin's Parish at Starkenburg was chartered in 1848. The cornerstone for the St. Martin's Church was laid in 1873. The St. Martin's Church Museum was added in the 1980s. Inside includes the oldest Pfeffer Pipe Organ in the United States, which is still used today for Masses and The Sounds of Starkenburg Concerts during Christmastime. Weddings are welcome. Gardens are located around the Church grounds. Tours are by appointment.
