Joan Treis is a versatile artist who works in a wide variety of media, including:

She is was the 2006 winner of the Hermann Arts Council poster contest and a participant in the Museum of Make Believe art show at the Hermann Library. In addition, she has demonstrated cast-iron cooking at Luxenhaus Farm in Marthasville.
