Experiences & Classes

Hermann Farm engages the public in the story of Hermann's historical significance through tours, classes, and cultural events. During tours, visitors learn about the history of Hermann, hear about the legacy of Charles Teubner, George Husmann, and Charles Manwaring, and get a taste of what it was like to live on a farm in Hermann during the mid-1800s. Tours make stops at the 1847 Tuebner-Husmann home, the 12,000 square foot stone barn, and the 19th century Rasche homestead. Visitors are also treated to a visit with the farm's Shire horses and a tasting at Black Shire Distillery.
