Roots: Cork & Fork Festival @ Adam Puchta Winery
Join us for our 2nd Annual Roots: Cork & Fork Festival. This event is about our roots. Roots as a family winery coming together and the roots of amazing food, music and art.
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Pappy’s Smokehouse for this year’s Roots Festival. Pappy’s is named one of the nation’s best joints for barbecue. They opened in 2008 and quickly became a nationally acclaimed barbecue restaurant. Pappy’s is based out of Midtown, St. Louis. They slow-smoke their meats to juicy perfection and their slow-smoked whole hog is no exception. Their mission is to provide quality, home-style food while making every customer feel like family. This mission melds well with APW’s very similar mission of creating a quality product and making everyone feel like family, so this is definitely a perfect match of delicious foods, wines, and friendships. Please join us, along with Pappy’s Smokehouse and our 1855 Cellar Bistro as we prepare an amazing meal and wine experience for you to enjoy. Advance ticket purchase is not required but it is recommended. Click the attached link to register.
The folk duo, Gloria Attoun & Michael Bauermeister will get our Roots music started at 10:30, followed by Missouri Breaks who plays from 2-6 pm. Missouri Breaks is a progressive Bluegrass band from St. Louis. The 5 piece band consists of guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and fiddle. They have a huge following and are exactly what Roots music is all about. Perfect entertainment for enjoying great food and wine at Adam Puchta Winery.
But wait, that’s not all. We will also have Art @ APW! We have a handful of very creative, art vendors who will be set up and selling their hand-made wares from 10-6. This will be a full day of live music, amazing foods, local art and of course, great, award-winning wines. We hope you’ll plan to spend the day with us. Dance, shop, eat, drink and be merry!
