5th Annual Shakespeare Festival

A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare’s beloved comedy full of love, magic, and mischief. This vibrant, music-filled production—first performed in 2022—is directed by Tre’von Griffith and features an all-Black cast and creative team. Set in an enchanted forest, the play follows young lovers, mischievous fairies, and a troupe of amateur actors in a tale about love and self-discovery, reimagined with an Afro-futurist twist.

The show will take place on the back lawn of Hermann Farm Distillery. Admission is FREE, and the gates open at 5:00 p.m. with the performance starting at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Food, wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. No outside food or alcohol permitted.
