Hermann is a town with so much to offer visitors—there’s history and beautiful architecture to explore, events to enjoy, and beverages to sample. Hermann is also known for restaurants featuring hearty, wholesome meals, many specializing in homestyle and German dishes. One of those restaurants, whose focus is on fresh and simple ingredients, is Harvest Table.

Opened by lifelong friends Mary and Stacey in 2016, Harvest Table is truly a passion project. After taking a culinary road trip across the state of Missouri in search of the best recipes and flavors of the Show-Me State, the two friends came back to Hermann with a vision of what was to become Harvest Table—a restaurant focused on creating delicious food with fresh, simple, and locally-sourced ingredients.

High-quality ingredients and made-in-house…well, everything

Run by a team of strong, skilled women, Harvest Table’s knowledgeable staff brings their culinary expertise to everything they do. With recipes focusing on freshness and simplicity, each beautifully-presented dish uses made-from-scratch and, when possible, locally-grown ingredients. They proudly make almost everything in-house, from their sauces and soups to dressings and entrees—even their desserts are homemade! At Harvest Table, you’ll be able to taste the thoughtfulness that goes into each high-quality dish.

A full-service restaurant, Harvest Table’s mouth-watering menu features delicious appetizers, hearty soups and fresh salads, perfectly-crafted sandwiches, and delectable entrees with a strong Southern influence. They offer several area wines, domestic and German beers, and spirits—many produced locally—to accompany your delicious meal. Need something sweet post-dinner? You’re in luck—Harvest Table boasts several delicious dessert options for $5. You can’t pass that up!

Check out their specials

Open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, Harvest Table also serves breakfast and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. With a long list of well-known favorites—with a Harvest Table twist!—there’s something on the menu for everyone. If you’re looking for the perfect brunch complement, try their Bloody Mary Bar, where you can customize your eye-opening drink.

Heading into Hermann on a Thursday? You have to check out their Thursday night special—Pan-Fried Chicken. Brined for 24 hours and pan-fried in lard, this chicken is exactly like Grandma made it…but better. Make sure you head in early—once they’re out, they’re out!

Even more than excellent food

Though the mouth-watering smells will draw you into Harvest Table, and you’ll keep coming back to try their house-made dishes with high-quality, local ingredients, they offer visitors even more than an exquisite restaurant experience. The restaurant’s beautiful, eclectic backdrop, which features antiques and local art, is more than just decor—many items are available for purchase. In addition to a restaurant, Harvest Table is also a retail shop where you can find culinary and home gift items, vintage items, crafts, and art—including high-end art by local artists.
