16th Annual Children’s Lantern Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

November 29 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

What’s better than watching a parade go by? Being in one, of course! To officially kick off the Christmas season, the Hermann invites you to bundle up and stroll through the town’s historic district in the Annual Lantern Parade. With twinkling lights glistening all around, you’ll find yourself marveling at the magic of the season. Kids and adults will enjoy carrying old-fashioned lanterns and singing Christmas carols as everyone makes their way toward Gerald Engemann Memorial Park. 

Once you’ve arrived at the park, grab a hot cocoa to sip on during the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Watch in awe as Hermann’s beautifully adorned Christmas trees are illuminated for the first time this season. Kids can visit with Santa who will be handing out treats to celebrate his favorite time of year.

Small Business Saturday
