Museum Scavenger Hunt
See if you can find the items on your list at the Historic Hermann Museum in the German School Building. Museum rooms are filled with fascinating memorabilia from early Hermann. Prizes will be awarded.
$3.75 for students, $5 for adults
Rockin’ W Alpaca Ranch
At Rockin’ W Alpaca Ranch, 20 minutes south of Hermann on Highway 19, Barb and Paul Willsey will show you how they care for their alpacas. Visit a shop with alpaca wool products and Hummingbird Kitchen, which features homemade baked goods, jams and jellies.
Pea Ridge Farm Arboretum
Board your motorcoach for a scenic 15-minute ride east on Highway 94 to Pea Ridge Forest, where the Rood family grows acres of Christmas trees, evergreens, shade trees, and ornamentals. The tour includes a wagon ride and a stop by the lake for refreshments.

Kid-Friendly Lunch in the Park
The Hermann City Park has a large playground and plenty of space to run and play. Choose your meal from a menu prepared and delivered to the park by the Hermann Wurst Haus.

Music with Marilyn
During lunch, local German accordionist Marilyn Loehnig plays your favorite tunes, along with favorite children’s songs from Germany. Sit back and relax, listen and sing along! $50 for a one-hour performance
Crafts with Susan
After lunch, it’s time to get creative. Susan supplies everything you need so both grandparents and grandchildren have something to take home.

Old-Fashioned Games & Toys
Antique collector and grandfather John Wilding entertains you with games and toys of yesteryear. Have fun playing whoopee stick, button whizzer, walking on stilts, flying toys, egg and spoon relay, and milk bottle and clothes pins and more.
$50 for a one-hour presentation
Sausage Tasting & Tours
See how brats and sausages are made and enjoy free samples at Swiss Meats 12 miles south of Hermann on Highway 19 or at the Hermann Wurst Haus in the downtown historic district.
