Artur Hohl, who has been a clay artist for more than 40 years, says he is still struggling to create the perfect pot. Each of his pieces is sculptured or formed or thrown on the wheel as a unique piece of art. “From simple pottery dishes to abstract sculptural expression to wall murals to painting on tiles to portraits in clay, I have done it all,” he says. “But the simple bowl with a simple, exciting glaze intriques me most and keeps me going back to the wheel.”
